Congero Transcribe runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API and a WebSocket connection to our transcription service. Nothing installs on your device. Nothing touches your file system. Works anywhere a browser works.
Audio is captured in small chunks, sent over WebSocket, and transcribed using a Whisper AI model. Partial results appear within a second or two, with final text settling shortly after you pause. The experience is fast enough to feel live.
The transcript appears in a text box you can also manually edit. One click copies everything to your clipboard — ready to paste into your email, CRM, document editor, form, or message. No friction between dictation and your real workflow.
No audio is written to disk or a database. No transcript is persisted server-side. Processing happens in memory for the duration of the session only. When you close the tab, there is nothing left. This is a fundamental design constraint, not a setting.
Any browser with support for the Web Audio API and WebSocket connections works with Congero Transcribe. That covers Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Sign in with email one-time-password, Google, or Microsoft. Billing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your payment details. Manage your subscription and download invoices directly from the Stripe Customer Portal.
